We're seeking a volunteer Advisory Board Member with a background in sales, marketing, and/or product development with a desire to make an impact in the EdTech, K-12, and higher education space. This role is ideal for someone passionate about scaling impact, bringing new solutions to market, and mentoring early-stage founders. Responsibilities Provide strategic guidance on go-to-market strategy, customer engagement, and product development. Advise on marketing and outreach tactics to reach education leaders and decision-makers. Offer feedback on the platform’s growth, positioning, and roadmap. Help evaluate opportunities for AI-driven features that support educator workflows, reporting, or coaching—balancing innovation with practicality. Provide guidance on the company’s early-stage revenue, pricing, and investment strategy, helping ensure sustainable growth while remaining mission-aligned. Join quarterly Zoom advisory board meetings (1 hour), 1:1 check-ins, and contribute via informal group chat. Qualifications We would love to work with someone who: Is a strategic thinker with experience in leading an early stage venture. Has a proven track record in bringing products to market, building awareness, and driving user adoption. Understands the Edtech space or K-12 education and higher education ecosystems. Has awareness of trends, tools, and responsible practices in AI that can enhance learning, management, or data usage. Demonstrates a commitment and willingness to share expertise and contribute to a mission driven, woman owned start-up.
